Seventh-day Adventists believe in the Godhead being "one God in three persons". This Trinity is comprised of --the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the infallible Word of God and is the standard, rule and judge of all dotrine and practice. God made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. Jesus was crucified for the sins of all mankind and arose from the dead on the third day, Through Christ's substitutionary atoning sacrifice victory was won for lost humanity so that as many as receive Him may have eternal life. Salvation is "by grace through faith not of works lest anyone should boast" (Eph 2:8-10).
According to Hebrews 8:1-6 Jesus returned to heaven to begin His ministry as our High Priest in God's heavenly sanctuary. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and Counselor according to John 14 and "convicts the world of sin and righteousness and judgment" (John 16:8). He is the "Spirit of Truth" that guides the saints into all truth. Christ has promised to return to earth a second time to take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to the the second coming of Christ and boldly affirm Christ's command "If you love Me - keep My Commandments" (John 14:15).
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything--the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us--is a part of His plan.
We welcome visitors to our worship services and celebrate open communion with Christians of other denominations.
